Markus K. Brunnermeier is the Edwards S. Sanford Professor at Princeton University.  His research focuses on financial markets and the macroeconomy with special emphasis on bubbles, liquidity, financial stability and its implication for financial regulation and monetary policy.  He is also an associated editor of the American Economic Review, Journal of European Economic Association, Journal of Finance and was previously on the editorial board of the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Financial Intermediation.
